“I have always hoped and prayed that what we offer in our ministry would draw people from their heads to their hearts, revealing the deeper longing of their hearts and experience there, God as the Sacred presence with them on their life’s journey.”
—Monica Brown
Emmaus Productions is an independent non-profit organisation founded in 1984 under the direction of Monica Brown and registered under The Mary Brown Memorial Foundation from 1991.
We are dedicated to supporting children and adults in their personal and spiritual journey through our creative experiential workshops, concerts, retreats and special events that integrate our music and video resources.
“When I began this ministry in 1984, I found its vision and scope in the beautiful Emmaus Story from Luke’s Gospel (Lk 24:13-35).
My hope back then was that through the creative integration of the arts with scripture and ritual, in the workshops, concerts and retreats we developed for children and adults, people would come to understand their own life story in relationship with Jesus and the mystery of God’s way in their lives.
I have always hoped and prayed that what we offer in our ministry would draw people from their heads to their hearts, revealing the deeper longing of their hearts and experience there, God as the Sacred presence with them on their life’s journey.”
In these more recent years of Zoom and increased technology, Emmaus continues its creative ministry in the production of its online resources of videos and music with special emphasis on the development of resources in support of the Laudato Si goals, in particular the sixth goal of ecological spirituality for children and adults.
